BAPIO North East annual conference on 'Innovation in the NHS, Wellbeing of Doctors and Future of NHS workforce'

BAPIO North East organised a very successful divisional annual conference on 7th March 2020 on the theme 'Innovation in NHS, Workforce, Wellbeing of doctors and Future of the NHS workforce'. The conference was held at the very popular The Glebe Centre, Durham Palace followed by a gala dinner and dance.

The conference was well attended and a great success. The topics were well tackled in a very efficient way. The key speakers were Dr. Mani Santhanakrishnan- Associate dean for Health Education North-east, Dr. Anand Mani- founder and medical director of, Dr. Tim Butler associate medical Director NHS England, North-east and Yorkshire and Prof. Graham Rutt, Primary care dean Health Education England North-east and North-Cumbria amongst others.

The crowd was ever so enthusiastic and engaged throughout the programme. From Registration to vote of thanks it was a superb fun filled and productive day followed by the scintillating evening with songs, skits, DJ and dancing. The four course exotic Indian meal was a great silver lining to the evening. 'A huge thank you to all the sponsors and doctors that attended and made the day a success' said Dr. A Joshi, Vice-chair of BAPIO North-east in his vote of thanks.
